Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of server-side JavaScript development, proficiency in Node.js, and extensive experience in building scalable web applications and APIs. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, working closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Application Development:- Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Node.js.- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.- Implement security and data protection measures.- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.API Development:- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of APIs.- Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.Performance and Scalability:- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Implement caching mechanisms and other performance improvements.Collaboration:- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.Testing and Debugging:- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the code.- Debug and resolve technical issues.Documentation:- Create and maintain technical documentation.- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.Mentorship:- Mentor junior developers and conduct peer reviews.- Share best practices and improve team processes.Required Qualifications:Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master'sTechnical Skills:- Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.- Proficient in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.- Experience with version control systems such as Git.- Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.Soft Skills:- Excellent problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Ability to work in an agile development environment.- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
