JD : Service Developer. Location : Hyderabad and Pune. Duration : Fulltime. Job Overview : As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, customization, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and solutions. Your primary goal will be to translate business requirements into technical solutions using the ServiceNow platform, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of various modules to meet organizational needs.Key Responsibilities : - Development and Customization : Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules according to business requirements.- Integration : Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs and web services.- Workflow and Process Automation : Create and manage workflows, business rules, UI policies, and other automation components within the ServiceNow platform.- System Maintenance : Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and reliability of ServiceNow instances.- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.- Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, configurations, and processes.- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to address incidents or problems related to ServiceNow applications. Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Strong experience working as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role.- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide), UI Actions, Business Rules, and Service Portal development.- Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HR, and CSM.- Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other integration methods.- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.- ServiceNow certification(s) (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator) is a plus.
