Description:

Responsibilities :- Maintain and enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, with a primary focus on Linux-based infrastructure.- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline operational tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent outages and service disruptions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain distributed data systems and services.- Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.- Work closely with geographically-distributed coworkers to coordinate and execute projects, tasks, and initiatives.- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to convey technical concepts and collaborate on solutions.- Continuously evaluate and improve systems, processes, and tools to enhance reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.Preferred Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience in Python programming, specifically for systems automation.- 1+ years of experience with distributed data systems, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, or similar technologies.- Previous experience working with geographically-distributed coworkers in a collaborative environment.- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, team-focused environment.- Knowledge of data structures, relational and non-relational databases, networking, Linux internals, filesystems, web architecture, and related topics.
