Description:
Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Snowflake solutions.- Implement best practices for data modeling, schema design, and query optimization in Snowflake to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.- Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data in Snowflake.- Build and maintain data integration processes between Snowflake and other systems using tools such as Apache Airflow or Informatica.- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and ETL processes to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in Snowflake.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Snowflake and data engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related roles.- Strong proficiency in SQL programming and experience working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing architectures.- Experience with data integration tools and technologies such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Talend.- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications : - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Certification in Snowflake or related technologies.- Experience with other data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and data manipulation.Location : Pan India (ref:hirist.tech)
