Software Development Engineer :Experience - 6+ YearsLocation - BangaloreJob Type - Contract (6 Months + Extendable)Immediate Joiners OnlyJob Overview :Common accountabilities :- Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in their own discipline. Knowledge of the business and how it is related to own area.- Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.Specific accountabilities :- 6+ years of experience as a C++ software developer- Knowledge of C++ standards and specifications- Familiarity with C++ compatible languages such as C, Java, and Python- Extensive expertise in software deployment across several platforms and operating systems- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities- Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C++ code- Work closely with other engineers to develop new products- Work on extensions of existing products- Suggest and implement improvements on current products- Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing modules- Hands on of algorithm complexities- Development of the next generation software- Basic Database systems - indexes, filters- Analyse specifications- Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.- Design systems and code- Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.- Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.- Develop software according to standards.- Model, design and implement databases.- Test and maintain the software- Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the guidelines.- Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.- Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst- Document your work- Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
