Description:
About the Role :- We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate SDET Lead to join our growing software development team.- With over 13 years of experience, you will play a critical role in building and leading a high-performing team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs).- You will be responsible for defining the overall test strategy, developing and implementing automated test frameworks, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.Responsibilities :- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs, providing coaching, guidance, and career development opportunities.- Define the overall test strategy and vision aligned with product development goals.- Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies (e. g. , Selenium, Appium, API testing tools).- Ensure code quality and maintainability of automated test scripts.- Partner with developers throughout the development lifecycle to identify and address potential issues early.- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand testing requirements.- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and other test documentation.- Lead the execution and analysis of test results to identify defects and regressions.- Champion best practices in test automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in software testing.- Manage and prioritize testing resources effectively.- Communicate test progress and results effectively to stakeholders.- Identify opportunities for test process improvement and automation.Qualifications :- 13+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading an SDET team.- Proven track record of successfully building and managing high-performing SDET teams.- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (e. g. , Agile, Waterfall).- Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e. g. , Selenium, Appium, API testing tools).- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.- Ability to mentor and motivate team members.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience with exploratory testing and black-box testing techniques.- Experience with white-box testing techniques (a plus).
