Description:

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL and Tableau Developer to join our team.- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with strong proficiency in SQL, advanced SQL techniques, and Tableau visualization tools.- The candidate should be adept at building different charts and collaborating effectively with business teams.- Experience with JIRA and agile development methodologies is required, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles is essential, and familiarity with end-to-end dataflow is a plus.Key Responsibilities : SQL Expertise : - Strong SQL skills and extensive experience in query writing and optimization.- Proficiency in working with advanced SQL techniques to manipulate and analyze large datasets.Tableau Proficiency : - Strong experience with Tableau, preferably with the latest versions starting from 2022.- Ability to create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau tools.Chart Building : - Design and develop various types of charts and visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in Tableau dashboards and reports.Coordination with Business Teams : - Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights through data visualization.- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on Tableau dashboards to meet business needs.Agile Methodologies and Tools : - Experience working with JIRA and familiarity with agile development methodologies.- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.Communication and Collaboration : - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback.- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to ensure alignment on data visualization requirements.Data Visualization Best Practices : - Apply data visualization best practices and principles to create visually appealing and informative dashboards.- Ensure consistency and usability across Tableau visualizations by following established design guidelines.End-to-End Dataflow (Good to have) : - Familiarity with end-to-end dataflow processes, including data extraction, transformation, loading, and visualization.- Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL development and Tableau visualization.- Proficiency in advanced SQL techniques and optimization strategies.- Strong experience with Tableau, preferably with the latest versions.- Ability to build various types of charts and visualizations to convey data insights effectively.- Experience coordinating with business teams and gathering requirements.- Familiarity with JIRA and agile development methodologies.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.Good to have : End-to-end dataflow knowledge.Location : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
