Description:

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst II with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in system analysis, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders. This role requires analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to deliver effective IT solutions that meet business needs.Key Responsibilities :System Analysis and Design :- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvements.- Design and document detailed specifications for system enhancements and modifications.- Develop and maintain system models, diagrams, and flowcharts to support project development.Requirement Gathering :- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional requirements.Solution Implementation :- Collaborate with developers and IT teams to implement system solutions.- Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and meet quality standards.- Participate in the development and deployment of new applications and system enhancements.Testing and Quality Assurance :- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance.- Identify, document, and resolve system defects and issues.- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback sessions with stakeholders.Project Management :- Manage and track project progress, timelines, and deliverables.- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.System Maintenance and Support :- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing systems and applications.- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.- Ensure system documentation is up-to-date and accurate.Continuous Improvement :- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 5 to 8 years of experience in system analysis or a related role.- Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.- Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and analysis.- Experience with data modeling, process mapping, and workflow analysis.- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment (ref:hirist.tech)
