About the Role :We are seeking a talented Tableau Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining our business intelligence (BI) platform using Tableau. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate those needs into actionable dashboards and reports, and ensure the effective communication of data-driven insights.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain advanced reporting solutions, including dashboards, analytics, and other BI tools using Tableau.- Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.- Collaborate with IT teams and business experts to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop data-driven solutions.- Leverage SQL to extract, transform, and load data for analysis and visualization (Experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, Exasol Lua script a plus).- Design and build Tableau models with expertise in both Live and Extract data sources (Experience with Tableau Prep a plus).- Craft compelling and informative dashboards that promote data exploration and storytelling.- Ensure dashboards adhere to best practices for data visualization and user experience (UX).- Manage and administer Tableau Server, including user management, performance tuning, and security. (Experience with Tableau plugins and Hyper Extract API a plus).- Maintain a detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.- Utilize strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize data visualization solutions.- Foster a collaborative work environment through excellent interpersonal skills.- Experience working effectively with global teams across different time zones.Qualifications :- 6 to 8 years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years focused on Tableau development.- Proven experience with SQL, data analysis, data profiling, and data validation.- Solid technical background with a comprehensive understanding of Data Warehouse Modeling, architectures, OLAP, OLTP data sets, etc.- Experience designing Tableau models with both Live & Extract data sources.- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create data-driven dashboards and reports using Tableau.- Familiarity with graphic design principles and data visualization best practices.- Experience working with Tableau Server and user management, performance tuning, and security preferred.- Experience with Tableau plugins and Hyper Extract API a plus.- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.- A team player with strong interpersonal skills.- Experience working in a global environment with teams across different time zones.
