We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firmware Team Lead to join our team and play a vital role in leading, motivating, and guiding a team of talented firmware engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in firmware development, proven leadership qualities, and a passion for innovation and delivering high-quality products.Responsibilities :Leadership and Team Management :- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of firmware engineers.- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment that promotes learning and growth.- Delegate tasks effectively, motivate team members, and ensure they have the resources and support needed to succeed.- Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.Technical Expertise :- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex firmware solutions for embedded systems.- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project deadlines.- Review and approve code written by team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.- Troubleshoot complex firmware issues and identify root causes.Project Management :- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address them.Communication and Collaboration :- Communicate effectively with internal teams (hardware, software, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.- Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.Requirements :- 7 to 12 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, hardware-software interfaces, and real-time operating systems (RTOS) (a plus).- In-depth knowledge of firmware development methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., version control systems, debugging tools).- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and scripting languages (e.g., Python).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example.- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.- Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality firmware solutions.
