About the Role :We are searching for a talented and experienced Technical Lead & Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time on-site role where you will play a dual role, leading both technical development and project management for our Laravel projects. You will leverage your expertise in Laravel, Agile methodologies, and project management to ensure our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.Responsibilities :Technical Leadership :- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers on the team.- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Laravel applications.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Laravel and related technologies.- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.- Contribute to the overall technical vision and architecture of our applications.Project Management :- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and roadmaps.- Utilize project management tools like Jira to manage tasks, track progress, and identify potential roadblocks.- Facilitate and lead daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders clearly and concisely.- Manage risks and proactively address any challenges that may arise.Qualifications :- 10+ years of experience in Laravel development and project management.- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum.- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work independently.- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.- A passion for technology and continuous learning.Technical Skills :- Core PHP and Laravel expertise- Experience with various Laravel functionalities (e.g., models, controllers, migrations, Eloquent)- Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) a plus- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) a plusAdditional Skills :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field (a plus)- Project management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner) a plus- Experience in DevOps practices a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
