Description:
Our client is a global payments firm and they are seeking an experienced Technology Implementation specialist with expertise in both frontend and backend development, specifically with experience in mobile development, API, and testing. The candidate should have a strong background in wallet implementations, including but not limited to Thales, Entrust, FOO, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.Responsibilities :Development and Implementation : - Lead the development and implementation of frontend and backend solutions for mobile wallet applications, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.Project Coordination : - Collaborate closely with the client's business analysis, development, and project management teams to manage and coordinate new wallet implementation projects until completion.Stakeholder Management : - Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of project objectives.Performance Optimization : - Analyse statistics, reports, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the client's operations.Testing Coordination : - Oversee all test-related procedures, collaborating with external testing labs like FIME and UL as necessary.Agile Methodology : - Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage project development and implementation effectively.Technical Skills :Mobile and API Development : - Strong skills in mobile development and API integrations tailored for digital wallet solutions.System Integration : - Experience in integrating and implementing complex payment systems such as Thales and Entrust.Testing and Validation : - Expertise in leading testing phases, including both internal and external test labs.Requirements, Experience, and Skills :Education : Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Technology, or a related field.Industry Experience : - At least 5 years of technology implementation experience, focusing on digital payment solutions and mobile wallet implementations.Project Management : - Proven track record of managing large-scale technology projects from inception to completion.Leadership and Communication : - Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders across various levels.Analytical Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a thorough understanding of project management methodologies and risk management.Additional Information :Project Flexibility : - Candidates have the option to work onsite in Lagos, Nigeria, or remotely, depending on their location and preference.Contract Term : - This is a 6-month contract position with potential extensions based on project requirements and performance.
