Job Description :As a Manual Test Lead at [Company Name], you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by leading the manual testing efforts for our projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop test plans, execute test cases, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.Responsibilities :Test Planning and Strategy :- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and timelines.- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.Test Execution :- Execute manual test cases to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.- Document test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of new releases and updates.Team Leadership :- Lead a team of manual testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.- Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and foster collaboration within the team.Process Improvement :- Continuously evaluate and refine testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.- Identify opportunities for automation and coordinate with the automation team for test script development.Quality Assurance :- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and acceptance criteria.- Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle and ensure adherence to established quality standards.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience (X years) in manual software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).- ISTQB certification is a plus.- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is desirable.Benefits :- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.- Health, dental, and vision insurance.- Flexible work hours and remote work options.- Professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement.- Fun and collaborative work environment with team-building activities and events (ref:hirist.tech)
