Description:
Role & Responsibilities :- As a senior designer you would be an important member of the UX team working on Samsung's current and future designs for Intelligence UX, IoT, Wearable and connected devices experience.- You would be working in close collaboration with local stakeholders (Executives, Product Management, Engineering, Business teams), and with global design team.- You are expected to think on a system level to design experiences that can work cohesively across multiple platforms and multiple devices.- Create guidelines, reference artefacts, and resources wherever necessary for effective communication.- You should have innate understanding of the current interaction trends, good visual design sensibilities, with deep awareness of latest design practices. - It's also desirable to have awareness, and passion in general for technology whether it's AI, Generative AI, sensors, Machine learning or understanding of platforms like android, iOS.- Keep themselves up to date and passionate about rapidly changing technology and share their unique perspective with the team.- Ability to work with different stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the needs and vision.- Work with a fast paced design team across various design activity like user research, interaction design and shipping of design.Ideal Candidate :- Effective communicator of design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders.- Drive, commitment and perseverance to design world's best user experience is a must.Design education :- Formal education in Product Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, HCI or a related field (Bachelor's/Master's).- Preferably from NID, IITs, Or similar schools in India or from abroad. - If design education is not present, equivalent outstanding expertise and experience is a must.- 4+ years of experience as a designer in a reputed design centric organization.Review Criteria :- Strong Interaction / Product Designer ProfileMandatory (Experience 1) : 3+ YOE in Interaction / UI Design / Product DesignMandatory (Experience 2) : Must have worked on Connected Devices, IOT, Wearables, Smart Watches etc (Read in CV, Verfiy work in Portfolio)Mandatory (Portfolio) : Strong portfolio, of UI, Interaction Design works for Connected Devices, IOT, Wearables, Smart Watches etcMandatory (Education) : BDes or MDesPreferred (Company) : Product CompanyNote - Portfolio with IOT, Connected Devices or similar works is Mandatory (ref:hirist.tech)
