Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Worksoft Certify Automation Engineer to join our team.- The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in test automation using Worksoft Certify, with proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript or PowerShell.- This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications.- The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality test automation solutions that drive business growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities : Test Automation Development : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Worksoft Certify.- Develop custom scripts using VBScript or PowerShell to enhance test automation capabilities.- Ensure the technical feasibility of test automation frameworks and optimize scripts for maximum efficiency and coverage.Requirement Gathering and Analysis : - Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and business analysts to gather and analyze testing requirements.- Translate business needs into technical specifications and automated test scripts.Test Execution and Reporting : - Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.- Generate detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.- Track and report on test automation coverage and effectiveness.Maintenance and Support : - Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to accommodate changes in the application.- Provide support for test automation tools and frameworks, ensuring their effective usage.Documentation and Best Practices : - Maintain detailed documentation of test scripts, configurations, and processes.- Adhere to and promote best practices in test automation, including code reviews and continuous integration.Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality releases.- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on test automation progress and resolve issues.Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience : - 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in test automation with a focus on Worksoft Certify.- Proven track record of developing and maintaining automated test scripts.Skills : - Strong proficiency in Worksoft Certify for test automation.- Extensive experience with scripting languages such as VBScript or PowerShell.- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune (ref:hirist.tech)
